Under the SCABLE Group, the business portfolio can be categorized into two (2) main divisions: Manufacturing and Project/Engineering –– both complementing each other to foster competitive edge in making us an integrated power solution provider whilst enabling sustainable growth.
We offer a comprehensive range of power cables, wires and steel structure & galvanized products with extensive power-related services. This includes construction of transmission lines, civil works for substations, aerial power lines inspection & maintenance and other infrastructure developments. We have also further ventured into the renewable energy sector with our very first mini-hydro power plant due to be commissioned by early 2016. This makes us a one-stop manufacturing base and integrated power solutions provider in the region.
Full range of Power Cables & Wires
Being the leading Cable Manufacturer in South East Asia, we operate with four (4) cable plants located in Peninsular Malaysia (Pandan, Plentong, Tikam Batu) and one (1) in Kuching, Sarawak.
Transmission Lines
Sarawak Cable produces high quality Transmission Line purposely built to withstand the toughest of tropical weather conditions in the South-East Asia region - ensuring uninterrupted electrical power transmission. We take into account the important role in providing long-distance electricity distribution across the countries in the region.
Steel Structures, Poles, Towers & Galvanized Products
Our steel fabrication plant is situated at Demak Laut Industrial Park, Kuching, Sarawak. It is operated under Sarwaja Timur Sdn Bhd who owns a modern steel fabrication and hot-dip galvanizing plant – one of the most integrated of its kind in Malaysia.

Through our decades of experience in construction and installation service, we guarantee high quality infrastructure that meets the global industry standard and ensure uninterrupted transmission of energy for the community.
Management cum Consultancy Services
SCABLE also involves in rendering management cum consultancy services to foreign partners who plan to participate in Malaysia’s projects and seek to familiarise with local regulatory and legislative requirements.
Power Generation cum Renewable Energy
Mini Hydro Electric Power Plant (MHEPP)
Our first venture in mini-hydro power plant, namely 11MW Kombih III MHEPP, is located in North Sumatera and is due to be completed by early 2016, on Built-Operate-Transfer (BOT) basis with concession period of 20 years.
Through our Indonesian-based subsidiary, PT. Inpola Mitra Elektrindo, we have established our network with Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN), state-owned utility company in Indonesia, in pursuing a few potential Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) in the near future.
Solar Energy Sector
We are exploring the potentiality in Solar Energy Sector and are equipping our resources in supplying and installing a complete Solar Hybrid System and components, including photovoltaic modules, PV Batteries, Diesel Generator and also stand-alone & grid connected power system.

Our wholly owned subsidiary, Aerial Power Lines Sdn Bhd (APL), is operating with 3 units of helicopters with a few more units to be delivered in 2016. APL has offered helicopter services flood disaster in Kelantan
It has been working closely with GMC for power lines surveying works at Klang Valley area and is actively participating in tendering for contracts from power utility companies in the region.
